CONCERN4Kids

        CONCERN is a multi-service private non-profit 501(c)(3) human services organization that provides services to children, youth, and families, encouraging growth and promoting positive, healthy lives. Our services include foster care, adoption, permanency, community-based prevention programs, behavioral health services, and residential treatment.  Founded in 1978 as a foster care agency in Fleetwood, PA, CONCERN has expanded its mission over the years to meet the growing needs of individuals and families in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

       Today, we operate 15 sites that bring hope, offer opportunity, and inspire change to over 7,500 individuals each year. By offering programs in behavioral health, community-based prevention, foster care & adoption, and residential treatment, we provide a holistic approach to addressing the challenges families face, ensuring they receive comprehensive support at every stage of their journey. Whether it’s offering a safe, loving home for children or providing behavioral health care to help individuals and families thrive, we are committed to making a lasting impact.

 

       Since CONCERN's inception, we have provided support and services to over 200,000 people, supported 27,000 children in youth and placement services, finalized 5,600 adoptions, served 80,000 behavioral health clients, and served 2,300 residential treatment clients.  All donations to CONCERN directly benefit children in foster care and residential treatment or people who are struggling with their mental health.
